Majority Teton Soundbar - Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about the Majority Teton Soundbar:

 

Where are the soundbar inputs located?

The inputs for the Teton (AUX, Optical, and DC in) are located at the back of the soundbar. The LINE IN port is located at the right-hand side of the soundbar.

 

Is it possible to connect extra speakers or a Subwoofer via Bluetooth?

Unfortunately, as the Soundbar is a Bluetooth receiver and not a Bluetooth transmitter, it’s not possible to connect extra speakers or a Subwoofer via Bluetooth.

 

Can the Soundbar be wall mounted?

Yes, the soundbar can be wall mounted. However, wall fixings are not supplied with the product and must be purchased separately.

 

Does the Teton work with Bluetooth headphones?

Unfortunately, the Teton cannot send audio out via Bluetooth, only receive it. It is not compatible with Bluetooth headphones.

 

When I try to connect via Bluetooth, my device asks for a code. What code should I input?

If you need to enter a password when using Bluetooth, enter ‘0000’.

 

Does the Teton work with wired headphones?

Unfortunately, the Teton is not compatible with wired headphones.

 

I get an annoying hissing/buzzing/feedback sound when using Optical mode, or when using Netflix, Amazon Prime or another App. How can I fix this?

To resolve this issue, please check your TV audio output setting is set to PCM / 2-CH. This setting can be found within your TV’s sound settings, most likely within the ‘Sound’ menu under ‘Additional Settings’, where you will find options such as ‘PCM/Dolby Digital/DTS/DTS Neo 2:5’.

 

Why am I getting no sound when using Optical mode, or when using Netflix, Amazon Prime or another App?

Why can’t I change the Bass or Treble settings?

The Majority Teton’s bass and treble functions are locked if you have the Equaliser settings set to ‘Dialog’ or ‘Movie’. To fix this, first press the ‘Music’ or ‘Flat’ buttons on your remote control, and you will now be able to change the bass and treble settings.
